These indicators are worth keeping a close eye on, as adulthood stress can be a trigger of disease (Kivimäki & Steptoe, 2018). Symptoms of stress may include a racing heart, being unable to catch your breath, and frequent headaches or stomachaches. With withdrawal comes depersonalization, which is a feeling of alienation or a negative attitude toward your surroundings. They may also avoid collaborating or sharing with other teachers.
